DESCRIPTION:Anna Stegmann is recorder professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London and a virtuosic performer on the recorder. She tutors on the Easter Early Music Course and at Jackdaws in Somerset. \nThis workshop is open to all players of not only recorders but also renaissance wind instruments and viols. Anna will be exploring polyphonic music of masters such as Giovanni Palestrina and his majestic Viri Galilei and also Cristobal de Morales’s Agnus Dei from his mass “Mille Regretz”. There will be a short performance at the end of the day of the works studied.
