This workshop will explore Casulana: Morir non puo ‘I mio core, and Lassus: Justorum animae. Anita Datta gives a fascinating introduction to Catalonian Mateus Fletxa (1481–1553) and the music he is most well known for, the Ensalades – works for four or five voices. Experience the drama and beauty of Tomas Luis de Victoria’s Requiem and Antonio Lotti’s settings of the Crucifixus with Richmond Chamber Choir as part of a Come and Sing day, led by their new Musical Director, Alexander Turner. Come and sing Charpentier's Messe de Minuit and some other 'surprise' French Baroque repertoire, led by Michael Cameron-Longden. |

Workshop exploring several settings by Palestrina, each compared with that of one other sixteenth-century composer. Viol players of all standards are welcome, players will work in small groups of similar standard and experience so everyone will be catered for! Led by Philip Redfern and Vickie Hobson.
