This non-residential course is designed for all levels from the absolute beginner to the professional dancer and concentrates on the technique, presentation & notation of Baroque dance. An extended workshop exploring music written for coronations over the past five centuries, including favourite music such as Handel’s ‘Zadok the Priest’ alongside some hidden gems by earlier and later composers. The conductor is Nicholas Wilks, and the organist will be Chris Nickol. ​ ​ |
